FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

Cannot find yours? Email [email protected] or book a call.

I already have a website. Do I have to switch?

No. Keep your site and add Nexus booking with one paste, or use your booking link. Your design, domain and Google rankings are untouched.

Will AI write things I did not say?

AI polishes the wording of your findings and never changes your conclusion. You review and edit the draft before anything goes to a client.

Do I need to download an app?

No. The field app installs to your home screen straight from the browser on iPhone or Android.

How much does it cost?

Nexus OS is $297 a month, or $197 after you complete the Academy. Founding 100 members start with 60 free days. See the pricing page for the details.

What if business is slow?

Opt into pay-as-you-earn: Nexus keeps 33% of each card-paid inspection until your platform fees are covered.

Who sends the texts and emails to my clients?

Nexus sends them for you, under your company name, so you do not need your own messaging accounts. Texts only go to clients who opted in.

What does Nexus charge on network jobs?

Nexus takes 5% of a job or sale that runs through the network, taken out of the contractor or vendor amount, never added to the client price.

When do contractors get paid?

Payouts are held until the client confirms the work is done, or 7 days pass, then released. A client can report a problem and freeze the payout.

What can an agent charge to manage a repair project?

An agent chooses one: a project management fee of 5 to 20%, or no fee and the 4% host share. Never both. The client sees it itemized.

What does the Inspected badge on a listing show?

Only the deficiencies: location, finding, priority and trade. Never the client’s name, contact details, photos or costs, and the inspector confirms the client agreed.

Can I add a vendor type that is missing?

Yes. Any member can create a trade or vendor type in the marketplace and it goes live instantly.

What happens to my data if I leave?

Your customer records, CRM and revenue reports stay yours.

Is Nexus a licensing school?

No. The apprenticeship is hands-on training at Pre Closing Inspection. For any state license you may need, apprentices get a referral to a state-licensed real estate school.
