The apprentice rides along, shadowing every stop. Focus areas: site mapping, ladder safety, identifying foundation defects, storm water drainage, and exterior dwelling and site inspection.
The apprentice safely removes electrical covers, cycles HVAC systems, and tests plumbing flow — including learning how to execute a sewer scope and/or snake inspection on a drain.
The apprentice takes over the software and drafts the property reports, while the instructing inspector redlines their findings, corrects defect identification, and teaches proper use of the Nexus OS AI.
The apprentice leads the entire physical inspection and client walkthrough, while the instructor silently observes and grades their performance.
